Explorer Dream, the third ship to join the Dream Cruise Line fleet in spring 2019, marks a significant milestone in the brand's global aspirations. Formerly known as the "SuperStar Virgo" of sister brand Star Cruises, Explorer Dream underwent a transformative $30 million refurbishment in March 2019. This extensive makeover introduced exquisite new facilities, including The Palace, Dream Cruises’ signature luxury private enclave featuring 50 suites and butler service, a concept first offered by Dream Cruises to discerning, high-end travelers in Asia.
With a gross tonnage of 75,338, Explorer Dream measures 268 meters in length and 32 meters in width, boasting a maximum speed of 25.5 knots. Since entering service in August 1999, the ship has welcomed 1,852 guests in double occupancy, supported by an international crew of 1,300. The ship features 929 total cabins across 13 decks, offering a variety of dining options, beauty and wellness facilities, entertainment venues, and sports and recreation activities, ensuring a comprehensive and luxurious cruising experience.
Explorer Dream caters to guests of all ages with its diverse range of entertainment and leisure activities. The ship houses the Zodiac Theatre for live performances, the ESC Experience Club for virtual adventures, and the Resorts World At Sea casino for those seeking the thrill of gaming. Additionally, families can enjoy the Little Dreamers Club and Action Zone, while adults can relax at the Palm Court or indulge in the luxury of The Palace, which includes a private pool, sun deck, and restaurant.
Explorer Dream offers a unique blend of adventure, luxury, and entertainment, making it a standout addition to the Dream Cruise Line fleet. Whether you're seeking relaxation, culinary delights, or thrilling entertainment, Explorer Dream promises an unforgettable journey on the high seas.
